4 on 6 Media launched in spring 2003 to promote independent artists and their music.
4 on 6 is networked to some of the independent music industry's principal companies and individuals and is leveraging those connections to the benefit of independent musicians in Southern New England.
4 on 6 Media offers a suite of tools enabling artists to understand and take advantage of the busines that their art exists within.
Owner / principal, Mark Wholey has over 20 years of experience in the music industry as a performer, teacher, disc jockey, radio program director, label employee and independent distribution executive.
With a continuing interest and strong belief in independent music, Wholey hopes to encourage and promote artists and their careers to the next level.

4 on 6 Media - Jazz

|
4 on 6 Media is dedicating time to the development of the independent jazz community. Soon you will find links to listings, musicians, and clubs that support the independent jazz music scene. The initial focus is the state of Rhode Island, the state that gave birth to the premier summer Jazz Music Festival; 4 on 6 will be connecting with the Newport Festival, as well as other area performance venues, with the hopes of widening the independent representation during the festival week/weekend.
4 on 6 is also developing relationships with the academic jazz community in the region as well as the broadcast outlets for jazz.
4 on 6 will be sponsoring jazz music events and educational clinics beginning in the fall of 2003. Please join the 4 on 6 mailing list to remain informed about these events.
