Alright then, who's this Shorty character anyway? Shorty isn't a person, it's a state of being... a state of being broke, in fact. But, I can tell you who makes up Shorty. The sextet consists of Nick Borelli (vocals), a soulful West Coast vocalist out of Santa Cruz; Geordie Corsiglia (guitar, vocals), formerly of Raised On Strings, who worked in Nashville for a period; Jim Hiatt (drums) who's kept time for the Chris Winter Group and the Blue Jackets, as well as pushing the massive grooves of Funky Stump; Steve LeBlanc (harmonica, vocals), who's worked with blues rockers the Blue Jackets, the eclectic Jazzotree, and has jammed with luminaries such as "Oil Man" Jack Johnson; Mike Tattan (bass), who's resume includes acts that range from the hard-driving Ezmerelda, to blues acts including Chirs Winter and the Blue Jackets; and Mark Wholey (guitar, vocals), jazz trained guitartist who's played throughout New England and New York City.
